How can I order?

When can I order?

Telephone lines are open Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm. You can order from the website at any time.

What is the cut off time for next day delivery?

To qualify for next day delivery you must place your order before 10 am. Please remember that this offer is only available on selected small items for eg: TV’s under 40 inches, Digital cameras/Camcorders etc..and not available for Large items.

Is it cheaper to order over the Internet?

No, the price and service are the same. So do whatever works best for you. We do recommend you check the website for the latest prices as they can change.

How do I know if the appliance will fit?

We try and list the full dimensions for every product. If for any reason the product you want does not have dimensions, please send us an email to info@ajelectronics.co.uk.

* It is important to note that the product dimensions do not include any protruding features such as, controls and handles etc. Product dimensions represent the casing of the product only.

Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights and measurements quoted on this website are approximate.

When do you confirm that my product is available?

If a product says in stock on our website, we generally have the items in stock.

Whilst we take every effort to ensure the inventory information is correct on the website, the stock is not reserved for you until full payment is successfully processed on the site, and there is a chance of that item being out of stock, should there be another order placed in the meantime.

Can the prices change?

Yes they can. We will always do our best to offer you the best value available, that's why we suggest you check the website for the latest offers and prices.

Can the prices change after I have made my order?

No. Once you have placed your order and we have issued an order number, the price is guaranteed to you, unless there is a typographical error or system failure, in which case we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund all your monies within 24 hours.

Which payment methods can I use to place my order?

You can use Switch, Delta, Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal or can pay via Finance.

Is it safe to send my debit/credit card details over the web?

Yes. We encrypt your payment card details using industry standard SSL technology to ensure they are completely safe.

If I don't want to pay online what do I do?

Simply telephone our sales hotline @ 02077252122 and one of our advisors will be happy to process your order by telephone using your payment card.

How will my appliances be delivered? Which delivery company do you use?

Your goods will be delivered by one of our logistics partner City Link, DSV Logistics or Palletways between 7am and 7pm.

Where can you deliver?

We will deliver appliances to any address within mainland UK FREE of charge using our standard delivery service and Northern Ireland at an additional charge, which will be added at the time of you placing order with us.

How do I find out when my product will be delivered?

For smaller items we aim to deliver within 1-2 working days however for large items we will send you an email confirming the day of your delivery.

What if I want to place an order for an item you have not listed on the website?

Unfortunately, we do not take any orders for products which are not listed on our website

Can I reserve a product while I am redecorating my house/I am on holiday?

Unfortunately, we do not offer this service.

 
Can I reserve an item and buy later as I get paid towards the end of every month?

Unfortunately we do not have this facility as item can only be reserved against full payment for the product.


If I reserve an item and buy later will I be charged the same product price?

Reserved item price will remain unaffected with the revised market price.


Can I reserve an item for a local store pickup?

Yes, you can. You would need to call to us first to arrange the payment and time to pick up the product.


If I received a different product how long does it take to get it sorted?

As soon as you follow the returns procedure we will start working on your request and then it will take 1-2 working days. (Subject to UK mainland deliveries any other place may require additional time)


How much time does it take to replace a faulty product?

As soon as you follow the returns procedure we will start working on your request and then it will take 3-4 working days. (Subject to UK mainland deliveries any other place may require additional time)

Why my order is declined?

1) Address not matched with credit card registered address. The address you enter must be exactly how it appears on the credit card statement
2) Your bank might have declined your card- Due to increase in web fraud most of the UK banks are taking precautionary measures for online payments by blocking the cards if the payment amount is high or if there are any unusual web shopping or if you haven’t done any purchases in past. Please contact your bank and let them know that you are trying to place an order and they will remove the block from your card.
3) If you have recently moved house and trying to use the new address as your delivery address it might decline.  It takes more than 48 hours for the Credit card records to be populated on World Wide Web.
4) After trying above all if the transaction has not gone through please email us your details and we will look into this asap.

Can I request a different delivery address ?

Delivery unless otherwise instructed will be to the billing address. We do offer the option of a Work address or an alternative home address delivery, however if this is a requirement the following information is necessary for us to action this request: 1Work delivery A fax or scanned copy on headed paper of the delivery address Fax no 020 7262 5131


Alternative Home delivery: A fax or scanned copy of a utility bill for the delivery address the billing address is required. Please Note:Orders will be held pending until correct paperwork is received.
